How SnookArena works
SnookArena is a physical footpool arena with an approximate playing area of 22 × 12 feet. Balls are racked like pool. Players take turns kicking the cue ball to knock target balls into the pockets.
Draft gameplay guide — final house rules will be published once approved by the SnookArena team.
Basic gameplay
Taking turns
Players or teams alternate. Pocket a ball and you usually keep your turn; miss and it passes to the opponent.
Aiming
Plant your standing foot beside the cue ball, look at the contact point on the target ball, and follow through toward the pocket.
Pocketing
Use the inside of your foot for control and the laces for power. Softer is often better than harder.
Winning
Clear your set of balls and sink the final ball to win — the exact format can be adapted to your event.
Ways to play
- 1v1 head-to-head
- Team doubles
- Knockout tournaments
- Casual drop-in rounds
Space considerations
The playing area is roughly 22 × 12 ft. Extra room is needed around it for players to move and spectators to watch. Total installation space and clearance are assessed separately — we don't assume the arena fits every venue.
Suitable events
Birthdays, corporate days, college fests, school and community events, tournaments and venue activations.
Safety & participation
- • Wear comfortable, flat footwear; avoid studs or heels.
- • Only active players inside the arena during a shot.
- • Children should play under adult supervision.
- • Follow instructions from SnookArena staff on the day.
- • Play within your comfort level — it's a game, not a match-day.
- • Keep drinks and bags outside the playing area.
